Sara Yirrell has been a journalist for 27 years, 24 of them in the IT channel; spending 17 years on leading brand CRN UK as a journalist and editorial director, before going freelance in 2017. She is now a consulting editor for CRN, part of The Channel Company, with a special focus on awards, sustainability and diversity. In her earlier career she spent three years working as a reporter on a local daily newspaper covering business, crime, transport and general news.
