TEN DAYS to go until the Sustainability in Tech Awards deadline
With just ten days left until the 22 November deadline, we revisit some of the categories on offer, and explain why any work channel companies are doing to reduce their carbon footprint should be celebrated
With just ten days left until the Sustainability in Tech Awards deadline, we look at some of the categories on offer, and why any work channel companies are doing to reduce their carbon footprint should be celebrated.
Our planet needs us more than ever before. Particularly with the results of a certain recent election where the person elected seems not to believe in climate change and the impact human beings are having on our one and only home.
So, with that in mind, it is even more important than ever before to celebrate any work channel companies are doing to preserve our precious environment for future generations. We have 18 categories in total, 17 of which can be entered, and one which is decided by the editorial team.
For those companies that think it is too early to enter, we have the Green Shoots Awards - aimed specifically at companies that are at the beginning of their decarbonisation journey - it is just as important to celebrate these efforts as it is the more advanced strategies.
We have divided some categories - Net Zero Project of the Year and Sustainability Champion - into Vendor, Reseller and Distributor levels to create a more even playing field and to allow us to showcase the great work that is being carried out at every level of the channel.
There are also individual awards within those categories - Sustainability Unsung Hero - that can spotlight the amazing work being done by the person in your organisation that is going all out to make a difference. Plus we are shining a light on the stars of the future with our ‘Rising Sustainability Star’ Award.
For vendors and service providers there is also the chance to showcase a particular product or service that is making a different in our Green Product/Service of the Year award.

Remember, it is never too late to enter and any sustainability-related work or achievements are worthy of consideration.
