Time really is ticking for the 2025 Sustainability in Tech Awards deadline.

Any company, whether at the beginning of their decarbonisation journey, or well travelled along the road, is eligible for entering. With 18 categories to choose from there is something for everyone.

Below are some top tips for submitting that winning entry

  1. Pick the right category for your company. Relevance is everything!
  2. Tell a story. Don’t worry about dazzling the judges with technical jargon. Just tell your story in your own words.
  3. Back up claims – if you do make any claims, then back it up with hard facts and statistical evidence that will give the judges something concrete to work with.
  4. Include stats – you may not think your stats are that impressive, but everyone has to start somewhere. By sharing stats, it shows the progress you are making, and also how seriously you are taking your sustainability journey. And if you are well established, then you will have loads of stats to choose from.
  5. Use pictures – make the entry look appealing. You can also submit a video entry if you prefer, but please don’t submit both.
  6. Make it personal – talk about how your people are getting behind your sustainability initiatives, inject some colour and personality into your entry – nobody likes beige.
  7. Testimonials, testimonials, testimonials. They can be customer or partner, but if you are talking about a particular project or initiative – then make sure you back these up with testimonials to help your entry pack a real punch.
  8. Don’t submit the same entry in multiple categories – try and make each one different and relevant to the category. Remember, less is more!
  9. Enjoy writing your entry and be proud of what you have achieved!

If you are submitting a video, it must be NO LONGER than FIVE MINUTES.

If you have any questions, please contact Ethan Sampson via [email protected]. To submit your entry, please click here.

The awards will be presented after the Sustainability in Tech Summit on 13 February at the BAFTA Building in London. No need for black tie or to buy tables.

Good luck, and we look forward to seeing your entries!
