Exclusive Networks goes to Ireland with Fortinet
The expanded partnership will enable Irish partners to address the growing demand for converged networking and security solutions
Exclusive Networks has signed a strategic agreement with Fortinet to support the cybersecurity vendor’s growth trajectory into the next stage with the Irish channel.
The new partnership leverages Exclusive’s hyper-local expertise and knowledge of the Irish market, together with Fortinet’s cybersecurity solutions, to help partners protect and safeguard their customers' businesses in the face of growing cyber threats.
The pair have been partnering for more than 20 years. Today, Exclusive is Fortinet’s largest global distributor, with partnerships in over 100 countries, serving over 81,000 end customers through an ecosystem of over 11,000 channel partners.
This move into a new market builds on this existing partnership between the duo who hope to draw on the luck of the Irish with this expansion.
Cybersecurity revenue in the region is expected to reach $555.50m in 2024, according to Statista, and is projected to grow annually by nearly eight per cent to reach over $812m by 2029.
Cyber solutions dominate the market with a projected market volume of $302.40m in 2024.
“Ireland is seen as a strategically important market for many of the world’s leading multinational organisations with buoyant IT and channel sectors,” said Julian Keable, country manager at Exclusive Networks Ireland.
“Our collaboration with Fortinet may be new to the Irish market but we are leveraging over two decades of accumulated knowledge, expertise, experience and trust from our successful partnerships around the world.”
Ireland has been a key market for Fortinet where it has been investing for several years.
Richard Woolfrey, regional director UK&I at Fortinet explains why it was important for the vendor to sign a new distributor to support recent growth.
“To achieve this pivotal step, we put in place a rigorous process to determine the best proposal, commitment, and vision to continue the growth trajectory in the next stage of our Ireland channel,” he said.
“We are now excited to extend our global partnership to cover Ireland and look forward to working closely with both the Exclusive teams and channel partners to achieve mutual success and growth across the region.”
