Cloud solutions and services provider Exertis Cloud has added five new team members to its ranks in a move to “challenge distribution.”

These new additions come as the distributor is deploying a new strategic plan to scale operations, strengthen its impact on the channel, and deliver better value to partners.

The new hires, who bring decades of experience across sales, technical expertise, commercial, and marketing functions, will intend to play a key role in the company’s mission to provide quality cloud solutions and services and help partners grow their business.

James Yates, Exertis Cloud’s MD since July 2023, was in charge of building this new team.

The new hires include Radhika Dattani as commercial director, Chris Cave as commercial manager, Sophie Lockwood as marketing manager, Lauren Foster as partner manager, and Danny Morfitt as Azure presales specialist.

Dattani brings over 20 years of experience in professional services, with previous roles at Fast Lane, QA and CompTIA.

Her mission will be to add value to partners through training, enablement and vendor engagement.

Cave joins from FluidOne Business IT (previously Highlander Computing Solutions), where he priorly worked with Yates.

His goal will be to leverage his knowledge and experience working for a big MSP, in order to enhance partner experience and challenge distribution.

Lockwood’s years as campaign manager at Giacom provided her with a good understanding of the channel landscape and the challenges that come with partner and end-user marketing.

Foster, thanks to her understanding of the challenges MSPs face when navigating Microsoft, will intend to improve partners’ experience and understanding of the software.

As for Morfitt, his expertise in Microsoft Azure for SMBs will be used to support, educate and enable MSP partners to better use Azure IaaS.

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented individuals to our team at such a pivotal moment in our growth journey,” said Yates.

“The cloud landscape continues to evolve, and our partners are seeking agile, forward-thinking distributors who can deliver innovative solutions while offering the support they need to thrive.

“With these new hires, we’re not only expanding our capabilities, but also reinforcing our commitment to empowering partners to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.

“The expanded team will drive the development of new offerings and strengthen existing relationships, ensuring that every partner has the resources and expertise they need to capitalise on growing cloud demand.”
