Littlefish, the Nottingham-based managed IT and cyber services provider, has appointed Ursula Morgenstern (pictured) as CEO, replacing Steve Robinson after nearly 14 years at the helm of the company.

The company ranks 99 in CRN’s Top VARs list.

Morgenstern will focus on expanding the company’s service range and revenue mix, while continuing the reseller’s growth journey.

She will join Littlefish in September.

Morgenstern will bring over her background in professional services, digital transformation, and IT outsourcing.

She previously served as president of growth markets at Cognizant, and spent more than 18 years at Atos, where she held various roles including CEO of Germany and UK/Ireland, as well as head of Central Europe.

“I am excited to join Littlefish with its strong customer-centric culture at such an exciting time,” said Morgenstern.

The new appointment comes as the business is on a trajectory towards £100m turnover, and expand its portfolio of capabilities, with for example the recent acquisition of Storm Technologies in Ireland.

“The acquisition of Storm, continued investment in cybersecurity, and consistent strong performance in managed services, will allow us to further drive growth,” she added.

Power transfer

Robinson will stay in the company once Morgenstern takes over as CEO.

The former chief executive officer will continue to work in an advisory role focused on commercial management and new business conversion.

He will also retain a seat on the board.

Having grown Littlefish from £1m turnover in 2010 to a current run rate of around £70m, he steps aside from his role with a healthy business, and with continued growth prospects to exploit (both organically and inorganically).

“I’m hugely confident that Ursula will take over the reins and continue to steer Littlefish on our ‘David vs Goliath’ mission against the usual suspects. I look forward to working with Ursula in the future, and hope to continue to play a part (if not slightly reduced now) in Littlefish’s future success,” said Robinson.
