Logicalis has named industry vet Jürgen Hatzipantelis as CEO of its German business, as the reseller regroups various entities under one unified leadership team.

Parts of the business undergoing this change include private 5G provider Siticom, IT services provider iTuma, Microsoft partner Orange Networks, and Logicalis Germany.

Hatzipantelis will succeed Christian Werner after the latter spent eight years as the head of the business.

The new regional CEO brings more than 30 years of executive experience in IT, previously serving as managing director of Siticom for seven years.

He is a former MD of Orange Networks since 2023 and has played a “key role” in its transformation.

Hatzipantelis has also held various leadership roles in the channel such as VP and managing director of DevoTeam for almost a decade, supervisory board member at Consequor Consulting AG for six years, COO at SESA AG for over three years, and served several years on the HP consulting board at Hewlett-Packard GmbH.

“Operating as one Logicalis in Germany, we can organise our resources and capabilities to offer customers innovative IT services from a single source,” said Bob Bailkoski, CEO of Logicalis.

“With this alignment under Jurgen’s leadership, I am confident we will unlock our full potential in this important market.”

Hatzipantelis added: "I am looking forward to continuing my work in the Logicalis family.

“My goal is to work with the team to further strengthen Logicalis' role in Germany and create synergies that offer our customers tangible added value for their business success.”

This isn’t the first change in leadership for the reseller this year, as Neil Eike was named CEO of UK&I in March, taking over from MD Alex Louth.

Anamaria Gibbons was also appointed marketing and comms director of UKI this week, in an effort to “reawaken” the brand.

These changes in leadership come as the company kept experiencing revenue growth in FY24 despite tough macroeconomic conditions.

Logicalis ranks number 96 in CRN’s Top VARs 2024 List.
