Kinrock, a London-based group of professional e-learning and compliance software companies, has acquired Red IT Solutions (Red IT) for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 1999, Red IT develops and markets proprietary software products that allow companies to integrate and synchronise their business data, operations and ERP processes with Sage and other UK accounting software platforms.

The company’s products allow their customers to access and alter their Sage data while on the go (on iPhone or iPad or web browser), integrate electronic proof-of-delivery (ePOD) or electronics point-of-sale (ePOS) with their Sage, as well as integrating their e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Magento) with their Sage.

“We knew it was time for Red IT to enter a new chapter that would allow a much larger number of clients and partners to benefit from our easy-to-use software products, whilst maintaining our ethos of client service,” said Ara Martirossian F.C.A, MD co-founder of Red IT Solutions.

In addition, Red IT provides software solutions that can streamline any company’s complex ERP or operational processes with their Sage or Xero accounts.

There will be an increased focus on the Red IT partner programme, which makes it easy and profitable for accountancy practices, consultants and software resellers to become Red IT Partners and offer our efficiency-enhancing software solutions to their clients.

“We all look forward to an exciting next chapter of growth, innovation and further enhancement of our client services,” added Martirossian.

Following the 2022 acquisition of Redmill Advance, the 2023 buy of Expert Pensions and the 2024 deal with Microw, Red IT becomes the fourth member of the Kinrock family.

To be acquired by the group, companies must fill certain criteria, such as providing professional e-learning services or compliance software services, proving a high degree of contractually recurring or highly repeat revenue as well as a low customer churn, being based in the UK or Ireland, etc.

“We couldn’t be prouder that Kinrock has been entrusted with further strengthening Red IT’s position and stewarding it into its next chapter of continued client service, innovation and growth,” said Alex Arapoglou, MD of Kinrock (pictured).

Kinrock says it does not intend to sell the companies it acquires.
