Softcat has marked its growing team in the Midlands and brand refresh by relocating to a new Birmingham office as the reseller delivers gross profit and operating profit growth.

In a Q1 2025 trading update, Softcat claimed it “performed well” for the first quarter ended 31 October 2024, driven by “resilient” customer demand supported by its broad portfolio offering and customer base.

The top VAR added its progress is consistent with the outlook provided in its full year results announcement, for double-digit gross profit growth together with high single-digit operating profit growth in FY2025.

“As expected in the year to date, customer demand trends have remained largely consistent with those seen in the prior financial year,” said Softcat CEO Graham Charlton.

“The breadth and depth of our offering, together with our wealth of expertise, is proving invaluable to customers in an increasingly complex IT landscape.

“I’m confident that our unique culture and capabilities will enable us to continue building on the current momentum in the business and successfully execute on the significant opportunity we see across our markets.”

New look for Softcat

To mark its ongoing growth, Softcat has relocated its Birmingham office to the Billiards Building, just a one-minute walk from the previous location at Interchange Place.

The reseller said the move symbolises a significant step forward as it continues to enhance its workspace, support growth and meet key sustainability standards.

The new office is also the first to have been decked out in Softcat’s new brand colours and logo.

Charlton added: "While the brand refresh marks an exciting new chapter for Softcat, the company's core mission remains unchanged.

“We continue to prioritise building strong relationships with customers and partners, delivering innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity."
