QBS Software has eclipsed 12,000 software publishers on its software delivery platform to mark its position as the largest channel-only online software marketplace, it claims.

The expansion supports software resellers and system integrators to accelerate deal closures, particularly in response to the surge in ‘weirdware’ and the complexities of managing the long tail of specialised enterprise software for major clients.

“Surpassing 12,000 software publishers is just the beginning. Our focus is on working with vendors in hypergrowth areas like AI, cybersecurity and sustainable software,” Andreea Dumitrescu, managing director UK&I at QBS Software tells CRN.

“We get behind vendors of the future who are revolutionising the performance of the UK’s largest and best enterprises. Only the other day, through a focused VAR, we delivered six tools that reduced 16 manual steps from their billing cycle—saving them an estimated £1.4m a year.”

The 12,000th vendor was Brightly Software, a Siemens company, an enterprise asset management tool used and was sold to a local government office via a GSI as part of over 1,400 software apps delivered year to date.

“We are thrilled to be recognised as the 12,000th vendor for QBS Software. This milestone is a testament to our commitment to providing innovative and sustainable asset management solutions,” said Chris Thompson, sales director at Brightly Software.

“Partnering with QBS Software allows us to help more organisations achieve their goals through smarter technology. We look forward to a successful collaboration and continued growth together.”

QBS Software said it enables partners to navigate and source niche and specialised software solutions to meet diverse client needs.

Key technical advancements contributing to this achievement include the distie’s advanced API Integration version 2.1, which enhances transaction efficiency.

The combined expertise of QBS Software’s international teams drives innovation and supports the complex demands of the software supply chain, ensuring that partners can meet client needs promptly and effectively.
