Philip Grannum, Wavenet’s CEO, has named a new senior leadership team after the company acquired Daisy Corporate Services early this year.

The new leadership is made up of executives from both businesses, as the merger aims to create a stronger and more innovative organisation, well positioned to maximise on the rising tide markets of cyber, cloud and intelligent communications.

And the leaders are…

Lizz Poltawski becomes CCO of Wavenet, currently holding the role at Daisy Corporate Services since March 2023.

She will also be in charge of leading Wavenet’s ESG strategy.

Stewart Motle, a Wavenet vet with 14 years of experience at the company, and Venetia Cooper, respectively, remain COO and CFO.

David Gisborne and Alexandra Stephenson will both continue in their roles as HR director and head of comms.

Andrew Beck is named chief financial integration officer, while Mark Phillips becomes CRO.

Paul Colwell, who started working for Wavenet in 2017 as technical director, now assumes the role of chief information security officer.

“The team brings together a wealth of experience, skills and innovative thinking to drive our business forward,” said Grannum.

Grannum became CEO in February 2024, whereas Daisy’s CEO Neil Thompson left the business.

The merger took place in May as Daisy Corporate Services split from the Daisy Group and was absorbed by Wavenet, in what has become one of the biggest IT stories of the year.

Wavenet is now set to serve more than 20,000 UK enterprise customers, including Costain, the NHS, and the TfL.

Both companies feature in CRN's Top VARs, with Daisy ranking 16 and Wavenet ranking 34, combining nearly £330m in UK revenue.
