Arrow Electronics expands distribution agreement with NetApp across EMEA
The extended agreement includes NetApp’s storage offering
Arrow Electronics has expanded its existing distribution agreement with NetApp across EMEA, in a move to strengthen both partners' presence in the region.
The agreement now includes NetApp’s Keystone Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS), a storage offering that includes flexible, on-demand storage consumption model.
The service supports file, block, and object storage, allowing customers to manage their data storage needs “in a cost-effective manner,” according to the vendor.
The offering is also designed to streamline time-to-market by reducing the complexity of storage infrastructure while maintaining control over performance, capacity, and costs.
“We are pleased to extend our agreement with NetApp to include Keystone Storage-as-a-Service across EMEA,” said Mike Worby (pictured), EMEA head of strategic alliances for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business.
“This expanded offering gives our channel partners more flexibility and scalability in data management, helping ensure they can respond effectively to evolving business needs.
“By incorporating Keystone StaaS, we can help our customers optimise their storage infrastructure with cost efficiency and high performance.”
“We have a long-standing relationship with Arrow across EMEA and continue to look for new growth opportunities and innovation for our partners. Arrow has the expertise, skills and ecosystem to scale NetApp’s Keystone Storage-as-a-Service,” said Kristian Kerr, VP partner sales EMEA & LATAM at NetApp.
“Keystone STaaS offers organisations a streamlined approach to managing their data, providing agility and flexibility with the option to scale as needed, whether on-premises or in the cloud.”
This announcement comes as Arrow Electronics has considerably strengthened its position in Europe over the last 12 months.
In June last year, the distributor partnered with Equinix, gaining the ability to resell the vendor's suite of services as part of integrated solutions across EMEA.
In August, the distie signed a strategic distribution agreement with Citrix to provide the company’s solutions to partners across not only Europe, but also North America.
This expanded distribution agreement with NetApp is the latest announcement amid a long-lasting collaboration between the two IT companies, as they’ve been working together for over 25 years, according to the American vendor.
