Assured Data Protection and Wavenet team up to boost enterprise backup

New partnership comes as cybersecurity is now top priority for UK MSPs

Assured Data Protection (ADP) and Wavenet have entered a partnership to deliver enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions to customers across the UK.

This collaboration with ADP - the largest Rubrik MSP, according to the company - will allow Wavenet to offer Rubrik's data protection platform as a managed service in an effort to boost cyber resiliency.

The new cooperation between the two firms will also aim to boost Wavenet’s security offer, at a time when cybersecurity has become a high-demand area, with 97 per cent of MSPs offering managed security services, according to Kaseya’s 2025 of the MSP report.

This is the second partnership for Leeds-based MSP ADP in less than a year, after the company signed a strategic distribution partnership with Mindware to expand into the Middle East.

ADP works with customers, MSPs and resellers, in a bid to help businesses protect and recover their data and operations in case of outages, natural disasters, ransomware, and cyberattacks.

This announcement also falls within Wavenet’s strategy to expand its range of services, following the merger with Daisy Corporate Services in May 2024.

The fusion reshuffled the company’s leadership team, with the appointments of Lizz Poltawski as CCO, Andrew Beck as chief financial integration officer, Mark Phillips as CRO, and Paul Colwell as CISO.

Philip Grannum, Wavenet’s current CEO, also stepped up as the head of the West Midlands-based MSP last year.
