Highgate IT Solutions has listed its ambitions for 2025, including revenue goals and headcount objectives.

Last year the four-day working week VAR logged 50 per cent revenue growth year-on-year.

Operations director Jenny Latimer names this as one of her business highlights from 2024, telling CRN what drove this success.

“Expanding our services and solutions to our customers, and also recruiting more into sales, and acquiring net new customers,” Latimer reveals.

Listing the biggest growth drivers for the company, Latimer names Highgate’s managed services and cybersecurity services as key players.

“But another big contributor is working with disruptive vendors and technologies and introducing them to our customers,” she adds.

“So, companies like Verkada, S-RM and Arctic Wolf.”

But the £22.5m revenue reseller isn’t wasting time celebrating its 2024 performance as it is now eyeing a new financial target.

“We are looking at growing the business to £30m this year,” Latimer says.

Replicating its 2024 success, part of Highgate’s plan to achieve £30m by the end of 2025 includes adding more heads to the business, another one of its goals.

“We’re also aiming to grow our headcount to 50 employees. Last financial year, which finished at the end of October, we were at 38 people. We’re currently on 43,” she says.

“But we want to get that growth while maintaining who Highgate are with our employee-first culture.”

The final few roles Highgate are recruiting for lie in sales and operations.

“We've also had significant success with our lead generation team, which we introduced just over 12 months ago,” Latimer adds.

“This was bringing lead generation in-house, rather than using an agency.

“Since its launch the team has grown from one to four.”

People-first, rewards and awards

Latimer embodies Highgate’s people-first mentality, adding that seeing the headway the 100 per cent remote reseller’s people made was another highlight of last year.

“Seeing people develop and progress within their roles, and helping people to do that is also up there,” she says.

“I had three team members progress, and it was just great to see what they were able to achieve.”

Highgate’s employee focus has led to industry recognition having being recently awarded one of the UK’s best places to work.

“We were named as one of the top 50 best places to work by Great Place To Work.

“Last year, we did the Great Place to Work employee survey, and based on our employees' responses, we were ranked in the top 100 in the Small Organisations category.”
