Integrity360 boosts global expansion with Nclose buyout

The new acquisition adds around £15m in group revenue

Integrity360 has acquired South African cyber services business Nclose to expand its global footprint.

Founded in 2006, Nclose provides cybersecurity solutions such as consulting, a full suite of managed services for cyber infrastructure, MDR services and technology solutions from international cybersecurity vendors like CrowdStrike, Netskope, Tenable, McAfee, KnowBe4, Forcepoint and SentinelOne.

Thanks to this addition, Integrity360 now counts 180 employees in South Africa which will operate as an important regional hub and global security operations centre (SOC).

The channel firm already counts centres in Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Italy, and Bosnia-Herzegovina with another facility on the way in Spain expected Q1 2025.

This Nclose merger allows Integrity360 to provide multilingual 24/7 capability for its suite of managed services, including EDR, XDR and MDR solutions.

Nclose also brings with it 150 customers, around €18m (£15m) to group revenues and approximately 125 employees, bringing its new owner to global revenues exceeding €150m, operating with a team of over 600 cybersecurity professionals.

But one of the most significant elements of this merger is Nclose’s trademark Cyberfire, an internally developed MDR platform positioned for SME and mid-market organisations.

The platform’s functionalities will aim to complement Integrity360’s existing MDR service, which allows integration from multiple security information and event management (SIEM) platforms, network and end-point technologies.

According to the freshly acquired company, Cyberfire’s role is to identify “the real alerts that matter” and “doesn’t require a third-party SIEM as the platform contains over 1,300 AI-enhanced individual detections to identify malicious activity.”

Integrity360 said it is planning on investing further in the Cyberfire platform and making it available to its international customers across all territories over the coming months.

As for Nclose’s customers, they will benefit from access to Integrity360’s cyber services portfolio.

“The journey [Nclose] have been on since their formation in 2006 is highly impressive and we are looking forward to helping them provide an enhanced set of services to their customers and expanding further in the wider South African market during 2025 and beyond,” said Ian Brown (pictured), executive chairman at Integrity360.

“The addition of Cyberfire brings another service and growth capability to the group, further expanding the depth of Integrity360’s XDR and MDR portfolio for the benefit of our wider international customer base.”

Stephen Osler and Martin Potgieter, founders and directors of Nclose, added: “This is a momentous milestone for us, and we could not be more delighted that Nclose is joining Integrity360 and continuing the growth journey we started almost 20 years ago.

“Thanks to the support of our customers, partners and employees, Nclose has grown and flourished during that time, and having spent considerable time with Ian and the wider Integrity360 leadership team, we are confident that we will continue to do so being part of the Integrity360 group.”

This new merger comes just a few months after the company’s buyout of Cape Town-based Grove Group in August 2024.

The group has also been acquisitive in Europe, as it announced its expansion into the DACH market when it swooped Adsigo in December.
