Sabio plants roots in green ambitions with EcoVadis silver medal
The new achievement places the reseller in the top 15 per cent of companies evaluated worldwide
Customer experience (CX) solutions provider Sabio has earned the silver EcoVadis medal for its commitment to sustainable business practices.
With a score of 71 out of 100, the London-based reseller places itself in the top 15 per cent of organisations evaluated globally.
This milestone follows the company’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, announced by its CEO Andy Roberts in August last year.
According to Sabio, its sustainability strategy consists in implementing energy-efficient practices across operations, shifting to renewable energy sources, developing sustainable travel policies, launching eco-friendly product and service offerings, and engaging with suppliers on sustainability initiatives.
“This recognition from EcoVadis represents more than just an accolade, it's a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainable business practices and responsible corporate citizenship,” said Mark Betts, chief experience officer and chair of Sabio's ESG steering committee.
“Achieving a score that places us in the 92nd percentile globally demonstrates that our sustainability initiatives are not just promises, but tangible actions delivering real impact and results.
“As we continue to innovate in the CX technology space, we're equally focused on pioneering sustainable practices that will shape the future of our industry.”
The EcoVadis assessment ranks over 130,000 companies across the world, basing its assessment on 21 sustainability criteria within four main themes: environment, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
This achievement comes after Crawley-based reseller Ampito Group earned a bronze EcoVadis medal in April last year.
Sabio’s chief experience officer added: “We remain committed to advancing our sustainability agenda, with plans to develop and implement detailed carbon reduction strategies across the business over the next two years.
“This initiative will involve collaboration across all levels of the organisation, fostering a culture of environmental consciousness and responsibility.”
The company ranks number 25 in CRN’s Top VARs list.
