London-based VAR Six Degrees has appointed Jeremy Suddards as CRO, as the firm will aim to leverage his C-suite experience to boost results.

Before embarking on his journey in the channel, Suddards started his career in retail nearly 40 years ago as a sales associate at Currys.

He stayed there until 1990, when he joined Dixons as a business centre manager and left four years later as a store manager.

His stepped into the IT world in early 1994, starting as a business development executive at Complete Computer Services.

He then became a senior account manager for SCC in 1996.

In 2000, he was hired by Compaq Computer Corporation as an enterprise account manager, eventually stepping up as account director for the commercial and business relationship between HP and HBOS.

But it’s when he joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise that the IT expert really earned his spurs.

Working at the company for over 12 years, he started as an account general manager, before assuming various roles leadership roles at the company and eventually becoming senior tech and services executive.

He entered the C-suite for the first at Aptitude Software, where he was hired in 2018 as CRO of EMEA and Asia.

He rose to CEO of the company in less than a year.

He left in 2023 and became a part-time advisory board member at Stack Digital in April 2024.

In December last year, he also took on the role of advisory board member at Tillon.

He will remain at Tillon alongside his new position.

The new CRO replaces Brendan Lynch, who is to step down 11 months after he joined the company.

“I am deeply customer-focused and enjoy working with clients to understand their challenges and connect them with the right solutions to positively impact their business outcomes,” said Suddards.

“Demands on UK businesses have never been higher; our solutions have the potential to transform organisations, and I am excited to be at the forefront of this innovation,”

Vince DeLuca, CEO of Six Degrees, added: “Jeremy’s results-driven leadership and passion for growth, combined with his extensive background in both large global corporations and high-growth businesses across the technology sector, make him ideally suited to engage with our clients, understand their challenges, and deliver the exceptional solutions that Six Degrees offers.”

DeLuca also joined Six Degrees less than a year ago, as he took the helm of the company in June 2024.
