Dell extends anniversary partner discounts
Vendor gives its channel partners four more weeks to take advantage of enterprise and storage deals
Dell is extending its anniversary offers to its partners for an additional four weeks to further prove its continued commitment to its channel business.
Last November, the vendor gave its resellers until the end of 2012 to take advantage of a string of discounts on its wares, but has today announced it is extending the discount deadline by four weeks to 1 February.
The offers, which include five per cent off all enterprise orders and a total 10 per cent discount on all Dell Compellent storage deals, were launched to mark five years of PartnerDirect and are available to all Dell partners in western Europe who have invested in the vendor's enterprise products in the past five years.
Last year, the vendor announced that its channel is now bigger than its direct business in EMEA, and Andreas Schuetze, Dell's EMEA marketing director, said the move to extend the offer proves Dell's channel commitment.
"We have extended the time partners can use this discount as a sign of our continued commitment to the PartnerDirect programme, and to support those partners who have invested most in the programme since it began five years ago," he added.
