Computerlinks adds iScan mobility tools

Online offering promises enhanced mobile security

Computerlinks has added iScan Online enterprise mobile security tools in a bid to tempt resellers.

Dominic Wordsworth (pictured), product group manager at Computerlinks, said enterprise mobility continues to create opportunities for the channel and its customers.

"It has also brought new challenges for security and compliance. The agreement with iScan Online provides our partners with a solution to address these challenges, which can be integrated quickly with their existing security and mobility portfolios," he said.

iScan Online is available exclusively via channel partners and can be white-labelled. Computerlinks recommends an annual licence fee of £10 per device.

The browser-based toolset provides enterprise-wide vulnerability, PCI and data discovery scans of multiple mobile devices. It supports Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X and iOS, and Google Android.

A downloadable version can be integrated with remote monitoring and management apps.

The Newmarket-based distributor indicated that the iScan offering will complement product from MobileIron, Ericom and Globo in its portfolio.
