The company demonstrated a clear focus on measuring exactly what impact it is having on those it is supporting with valuable new opportunities.

Marketing Employee of the Year
The winner of this closely contested category gave evidence that they are trying to move the needle to support others outside of their day-to-day role. The judges were also impressed by this candidate's commitment to bridging the gap between marketing and sales within their company.

Sales Employee of the Year (Reseller)
This winner stood out head and shoulders above the competition painting a picture of a tenacious and ambitious individual, not to mention high achieving in her field. Through a clever use of stats, the candidate demonstrated how she generated impressive sales revenue for her company, winning company accolades. The entry was supported by strong testimonials from partners that sealed the deal with the judges.

Sales Person of the Year - vendor/distributor
Tenacity was the word that came to mind for this entrant. The judges were impressed by the huge growth this sales person has driven, that she gave plenty of stats to back up her impact on the business, and that she is helping other women develop their careers at her own firm, as well as engaging with schools.

Manager of the Year (reseller)
In quite a crowded shortlist this winner stood out above the competition demonstrating how she has managed to turn an unhappy and underperforming team into a happy, supportive and successful one. The entry also demonstrated the impact this candidate's work has had on the business through detailed stats. Achievements were also backed up through a number of strong and heartfelt testimonials from across the business.

The judges were very impressed by this brilliant entry. This manager comes across as genuinely passionate about coaching, and is striving to promote more flexible working options to aid retention of talented staff.

Winner: HP Inc UK
Entrepreneur of the Year
A unanimous decision in selecting this winner who co-founded her company while on maternity leave and struggling financially. What really struck a chord with the judges was this candidate's strategy of employing other struggling new mothers like herself who were determined to maintain a career while bringing up a new baby, and creating a really flexible working system that worked for the whole company. The entry was supported with glowing testimonials that helped seal the deal.

Rising Star - Vendor/Distributor
The winner of this category backed up a superb entry with countless written and video testimonials from colleagues and partners. The judges were blown away by the impact she has made on the industry just two years into her career. This was truly one of the standout entries of the entire awards.

Role Model of the Year - Reseller / Services
The judges felt that there were so many brilliant role models in this category but there was one clear winner. This winner's entry was filled with integrity and enthusiasm, which absolutely demonstrated why they are an actual role model.

Role Model of the Year - Vendor/Distributor
The judges were keen to stress their pick for this category shows you do not have to be a top executive to be a role model. The panel were impressed by this woman's creation of a community to empower and support female colleagues in the industry, as well as her voluntary work and ability to balance a career with parenthood.

Rising Star - Reseller and Services:
The winner of this closely contest category gave an outstanding entry, with customer testimonials that completely blew the judges away. This winner is more than just a rising star - it was an absolutely fantastic entry.

Unsung Hero Award (reseller)
Highly commended: Misti Murray-Smith, Silver Lining Convergence Ltd
In a category that had some very strong entries and prompted enthusiastic debate among the judges, this winner stood out. She has worked her way up the ranks in what is traditionally a very male-dominated environment. Judges were particularly impressed at how she oversaw a considerable move to a new purpose-built distribution centre without any interruption to business and her perseverance at developing and setting up a new operational system, which resulted in significant growth for the business. A definitely unsung hero and a really worthy winner.

Unsung Hero - Vendor/Distributor
After much deliberation, the judges picked a winner based on which entry they felt best summed up the spirit of the award. This person not only holds her team together, but is also humble, self-effacing and puts others first. This unsung hero's achievements deserve to be celebrated.
Winner: Kay Cooper, Westcoast
Outstanding Returner:
The judges found this category really tough to judge due to the most incredible and inspiring entries. The judges couldn't pick one winner and felt that there were two who massively deserved to win, for two very different reasons.
The first winner's entry demonstrated it's not just about coming back to work after childbirth. This was a heartfelt entry and a fabulous example of resilience

The second winner returned to work and gave a lot back to the business and contributed a huge amount. The judges thought this was a brilliant entry

Technical Employee of the Year
The judges thought the entries were fantastic in this category, which is great to see. This winner's entry was self-aware, likable and humble. This entry was exceptional and stand out.

Graduate/Apprentice of the Year
Highly commended: Zoe Holland, Computacenter
And now to the winner. The judges were very impressed that this graduate has clearly got involved in lots of activities both in her role and outside of work, which are helping her develop and grow her confidence. They also respected that she is already taking a collaborative approach to not just developing her own skills, but passing on what she's learning to others.

Executive Mentor of the Year
This deserving winner has spent 25 years in her current role and has certainly mentored her fair share of junior colleagues. But what made this candidate stand out for the judges was her desire to go above and beyond that role and tackle a perceived lack of female leadership within her organisation launching a successful initiative called ‘Growing Together' which focuses on coaching and mentoring talented women across the whole of the business to help them reach their career potential. The judges were blown away by this entry and the accompanying testimonials.

Diversity Employer
The judges agonised over this tightly fought category. The winner gave strong evidence that its commitment to diversity comes from right at the top of the company in the form of its eponymous CEO. The judges were also impressed by its ability to not only drive its values inside the company, but to also inspire its channel partners to show leadership in the area of diversity.

Woman of the Year
The judges were unanimous in thinking that this was a truly inspirational entry! Every single answer demonstrated this tech leader's infectious passion for the industry, as well as a much-appreciated candour and self-awareness of lessons she's learned along the way in her distinguished career.
A sense of humour accompanies her determination to help young women coming into tech, and the retention of mothers returning to work.
Judges described her as being a brilliant role model for both women and men in the channel, as well as the next generation of entrants to our sector.
