Dell appoints new UK sales lead
Claire Vyvyan will also step into a European role
Dayne Turbitt will head the UK side of Dell's consolidated partner and commercial sales organisation.
Turbitt (pictured above) will take on the mantle of senior VP and UK general manager at Dell Technologies from 3 February 2020. He joined the tech giant in 2010 and currently serves as senior VP of enterprise sales for the UK and Ireland.
His fellow UK exec Claire Vyvyan, who is currently senior VP of commercial for the UK and Ireland, will become general manager for Western Europe, leading Benelux, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland.
The changes in UK leadership come as a result of CCO Marius Haas's decision to retire at the end of Dell's fiscal year, which has spurred the vendor to combine its partner and commercial sales units into one organisation headed by current global sales boss Bill Scannell.
"I'm honoured to lead our exceptional UK team as we, together with our partners , support our customers on their digital transformation journey," said Turbitt.
"Today, our focus is on delivering on commitments to these customers and partners while ensuring a strong finish to our fiscal year.
"I would like to congratulate my friend and colleague Claire Vyvyan on her new adventure which I know will be a success and I am looking forward to working with all of our teams from February to help our customers realise their business objectives."
