Computacenter to complete double acquisition on Monday
Deals to acquire Canadian firm Pivot and BT Services France expected to both close on 2 November
Computacenter expects to complete two previously announced acquisitions on Monday.
The services giant gained shareholder approval earlier this week for the £61.75m deal to acquire Pivot which will double Computacenter's business in North America.
The Hatfield-based outfit's acquisition of BT Services France will also be completed on Monday, and the French firm will be rebranded as Computacenter Network and Systems and will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Computacenter France SAS, it revealed in a trading update.
"These acquisitions will have a marginal positive effect on our 2020 results but should, together in aggregate, add significantly to 2021," stated Computacenter in the Q3 update.
Elsewhere in the update, the firm reported that it is "highly pleased" with its performance in all of its geographies for the quarter ending 30 September.
"The board is very comfortable with its current expectations for the full year as we have entered the fourth quarter with good short-term visibility and a strong backlog of orders," it stated.
