Sustainable mini-PC vendor in UK reseller push

Swiss manufacturer launches new partner programme

A Swiss manufacturer of fanless mini-PCs and servers which touts its wares on a sustainability ticket has launched a new partner programme.

Prime Computer's new scheme reflects the fact it is now selling the majority of its products through distributors, and is designed to be optimised for sales through distributors.

Last August, Prime appointed Boston Ltd as its UK tier-one distributor, and it is now seeking resellers on this side of the English Channel.

Founded in 2013, St Gallen-based Prime claims that environmental and social aspects are key in the production of its products. Once in operation, its focus lies on energy efficiency and longevity, it claims.

As well as serving its home market, it also recently began selling into Germany, Austria and the UK.

The new programme boasts three tiers, namely Reseller, Certified Reseller and Certified Platinum Reseller.

Benefits on offer to all tiers include account management, marketing, sales enablement, showroom units and individual project pricing. MDF, sales bonuses, free demo equipment and leads are among the benefits added on higher tiers.

"The programme creates new incentives for resellers," explained Prime Computer CEO Sacha Ghiglione.

"Resellers have the advantages of procuring through distributors and still have very short paths to Prime Computer as a manufacturer. Being close to our resellers, whether for technical support, sales or marketing, is crucial for us. This is true for both our Swiss and international resellers and partners."
