Simon Crawley-Trice to assume new role as David Howson becomes chairperson
Six Degrees has appointed Simon Crawley-Trice as its new CEO, with former chief exec David Howson moving into a new role as chairperson of the board.
Crawley-Trice is currently operating as the company's practise group managing director and will assume his new position on 1 May .
Howson spent four years as CEO, overseeing "significant growth" at the company.
"Six Degrees is now entering the next stage of its growth journey and we recruited Simon last year in anticipation of these changes," Howson said.
"I am very confident that Simon's experience, knowledge and passion will help us accelerate our plans and provide an even better service to our customers."
Prior to joining Six Degrees in October 2020, Crawley-Trice was on the EMEA executive team at Rackspace where he worked on expanding its public cloud, application, data managed services and professional services offerings.
"I believe Six Degrees has the potential to be the biggest name in the UK secure cloud services market," Crawley-Trice said.
"The company has seen a great deal of success to date and I'm excited to build on this success by further enhancing the mission-critical integrated solutions we deliver to clients."
