Sophos enters into first UK distribution agreement
Arrow will distribute Sophos’ complete portfolio of business security solutions
Cybersecurity provider Sophos has entered into its first UK distribution agreement, forming a new partnership with Arrow Electronics.
It will see Arrow distribute Sophos' complete portfolio of business security solutions and services that are aimed at helping protect users, networks and endpoints against ransomware, malware, exploits, phishing and other cyberattacks.
It marks a shift for Sophos in moving to a two-tier model in the UK.
"This is an exciting time for Sophos as we begin working alongside our first UK distributor," said Jonathan Bartholomew, vice president of sales Northern Europe at Sophos.
"At Sophos, we always strive to provide an excellent service, and this step will allow us to develop even stronger growth relationships. Arrow has an established reputation as a global supply chain partner, helping businesses to harness the power of complex and innovative technologies.
"As such, they can now expand our reach to MSPs and resellers, arming them with our innovative portfolio of next-generation products and threat response services that offer organisations of all sizes better protection against fast-changing cyberattacks."
Arrow will support in the scale of Sophos' operations by introducing automated ordering, cloud marketplaces, and new finance options, the vendor has also announced.
It says the move will also allow its sales team "to jointly focus on providing new projects and support", which will "help build customer trust" and "increase revenue".
The Thoma Bravo-owned business offers a variety of AI-powered, cloud-based cybersecurity solutions, including the recently launched Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions that synchronise native endpoint, server, firewall, and email security.
