Prime Networks acquires Bournemouth-based Microsoft, Dell and HP partner
Bournemouth-based MSP G3 Solutions continues Prime Networks' build and buy strategy
Prime Networks has announced the acquisition of Bournemouth-based MSP G3 Solutions in an effort to further grow its reach nationally.
It is the third acquisition for MSP Prime Networks in recent years, having started on a buy-and-build journey in 2018 with a debt funding package secured from Clydesdale Bank.
Prime Networks' managing director Mark Simons said: "I am delighted to announce our third acquisition in recent years of G3 Solutions which will further bolster our team and widen our national reach.
"G3 Solutions was a natural fit for us and we are excited once again to be growing our team with such a talented group of people and formidable clients."
G3 Solutions offers a number of IT services to businesses including server and network installation, cloud solutions and backup and disaster recovery.
It counts HP, Microsoft, VMWare and Dell among its vendor partners and works with over 130 businesses while employing nine staff, according to its website.
Prime Networks added that it has backing from Clydesdale Bank "to fund future strategic acquisitions" and will look to grow "both organically and with further bolt-on MSP's going forward".
The MSP now employs over 35 staff across its multiple offices and provides IT services to over 300 SME's and mid-market clients.
"Prime's board shared my vision for the G3 team and client base and as such the transaction was perfect for both sides," Andy Phillips, founder of G3 Solutions, said.
