Resellers asked to apply for £300m Metropolitan Police framework
Agreement includes the provision of services relating to end to-end digital policing solutions
The Metropolitan Police Service is advertising for resellers to apply to join its Digital Policing Solution Provider Framework 2022 worth an estimated £300m.
The agreement, which the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime is seeking to re-tender, includes the provision of services relating to end to-end digital policing solutions and will consist of a panel of suppliers "from whom the authority will procure services across three lots through a 'mini-competition' process".
"The authority is seeking suppliers capable of delivering complex, multi-phased, technologically advanced solutions," the tender states.
"Providers will be expected to bring functional and technical expertise, which can be drawn upon flexibly to deliver part or whole of a project."
Lot one of the framework focuses on systems integration - specifically the planning, building, testing, deployment and operation of technology solutions including software-as-a-service (SaaS), bespoke application development and more.
The second lot, titled Value-Added Reseller, includes the provision of miscellaneous hardware and software, Microsoft licences, services, and cloud solutions, other maintenance agreements for services not available through the existing MPS contracts, and scale/high value hardware and software for corporate projects.
And the final lot, called Resource Augmentation, includes the provision of resources to augment internal digital policing projects, specialist technical resources not available in-house and certified resources to validate such as architectural designs.
Interested suppliers should register their interest by emailing [email protected] and confirming a single email address that invitations to the SPF 2022 supplier information events and tender materials should be sent to.
The cut-off date for registration for the information events is 29 September and 8 October for the distribution of tender materials.
