Ensono appoints former Accenture MD to lead Europe growth
Hannah Birch joined Ensono in June with the remit of transitioning into a managing director role
IT services provider Ensono has announced that Hannah Birch will become its new SVP and managing director for Europe following Barney Taylor's departure to become the new CEO of Focus Group.
Birch will "head up Ensono's European growth strategy", the company said, and follows both the acquisition of cloud consultancy Amido in April and Ensono itself being bought out by KKR in a deal worth a reported $1.7bn.
She joined Ensono in June with a remit to transition into the managing director role, and before that spent over a decade at Accenture as managing director in technology. Birch has also held positions at both Computacenter and Fujitsu Services UK during her 20 years in the IT industry.
"I am more certain than ever that Ensono is one of a select few managed service providers with end-to-end digital transformation capabilities, primed to help our enterprise clients to thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of technology in the 21st century," said Birch.
"Our acquisition of Amido brings with it a wide array of digital enablement capabilities. Ensono and Amido have already forged trusted partnerships with many leading brands, and with increasing demand for a more flexible and tech-driven experience across all sectors, I am really excited about the myriad of future opportunities to offer more innovative, and particularly cloud-native services to our clients.
"I would like to thank my predecessor Barney Taylor. During his three-year tenure he helped grow the business, win a range of new clients, and show the transformational change Ensono could deliver in partnership with our clients."
