Distology adds identity management firm Auth0 to vendor stable
'Auth0 is a really exciting new addition to our vendor portfolio' says Distology’s chief product officer Lance Williams
Cybersecurity distributor Distology has announced a new strategic partnership with Auth0, a product unit within Okta.
Distology's partner network can now offer Auth0's identity management solutions, including the authentication and authorisation processes it provides businesses.
"As UK businesses continue to digitise their services, they're very often faced with competing security and user experience needs, and a shortage of precious developer talent," said Pete Wilson, EMEA partner manager at Auth0.
"We are excited to work with Distology partners to help local businesses solve these challenges by putting identity at the centre of their digital strategy."
Distology has recently moved into a new HQ after doubling its headcount over the past 12 months and says its ambitious growth plans include "diversifying its vendor portfolio to offer resellers a greater range of solutions".
The company was among Okta's first distributors globally and its latest agreement sees it expand into an "increasingly important area", according to Distology's chief product officer Lance Williams.
"The role of a distributor is ever changing but the one thing that remains is the reliance from our partner network for us to do the due diligence on their behalf for upcoming and brand-new technologies, ensuring they can recommend high-quality and secure solutions.
"Distology is known for representing innovative solutions, so Auth0 is a really exciting new addition to our vendor portfolio which sees us extend our offering in the arena of customer experience and security - something that is increasingly important, as businesses strive for the best online customer experience."
