Managed print firm Agilico acquires INVU to expand software offering
Agilico says the deal is a 'significant step' in its 'mission to build a comprehensive and compelling set of workplace technologies'
Managed print provider Agilico has acquired document management software provider INVU in a deal it claims is a "significant step" for the business.
The acquisition will add 300 customers to the group while providing additional "expertise in delivering and developing software solutions", Agilico claims.
Northampton-based INVU's product suite includes invoice processing, document management, workflow, purchase order automation and collaboration software, and is accredited as a Microsoft Gold partner.
"We are delighted to be expanding our portfolio of products to help make work easy for our customers who are increasingly turning to technology as they seek to remain agile and effective in today's operating environment," Agilico CEO, Simon Davey, said.
Agilico, which partners with the likes of Ricoh and Canon, supports 11,000 customers and also offers information management, agile working, telecoms and IT services.
It claims the acquisition will complement its "proven expertise in document management" and provides "valuable and important capabilities" to its portfolio.
It adds that the deal is a "significant step" in its "mission to build a comprehensive and compelling set of workplace technologies".
"We are pleased to be joining the Agilico group. This will enable us to accelerate our development roadmap into the cloud and widen our distribution capability," INVU GM, Ian Smith, said.
"We share common goals in providing an excellent experience and this should assure our customer base that our high levels of customer service will be maintained."
