PE-backed Performanta shows strong UK growth
Revenues jump by 46 per cent year on year while UK headcount increase by 60 per cent
Performanta claims it has showed strong growth in the UK, with headcount and revenues both up double digits.
Beech Tree Private Equity acquired roughly half of the Performanta business in March, with CEO Guy Golan remaining as the largest private shareholder.
The Maidenhead-based MSSP then went on to make its first acquisition under its new owner in the shape of identity and access management specialist Identity Experts.
The addition will give Performanta a better foot in the door of Microsoft services and help it to reach a wider customer base in the UK.
In a post today, Performanta claims that its customer acquisition has risen by 177 per cent year on year.
Meanwhile revenues have surged by 46 per cent year on year and UK headcount has increased by more than 60 per cent.
The company claims it now has "well over" 150 staff globally.
"I am incredibly proud of the growth that the business has achieved, which has only been made possible by the incredible team that we have in place," Golan said.
"Our clients trust us to deliver for them because we consistently provide the expert consultancy and guidance that they simply cannot get from other sources."
When the MSSP first landed private equity investment, Golan told CRN that he planned to double its UK headcount and revenues. He also said the funding from Beech Tree would help it invest in its own cybersecurity orchestration platform called CORE, which it will sell through an indirect channel.
