EY announces plan to acquire tech firm Client Solvers
The potential deal is subject to closing conditions including merger clearance
EY has announced its intention to acquire domestic enterprise technology firm Client Solvers.
The Irish professional services company says the potential deal is subject to closing conditions including merger clearance by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Client Solvers, which trades as Client Solutions, employs over 240 people and aims to supports clients in improving their operations and make them more efficient.
EY says the aim of the acquisition is to further elevate its clients offering across digital, technology and innovation services.
Frank O'Keeffe, managing partner at EY Ireland, said: "The potential acquisition of Client Solutions is hugely exciting for EY teams and is in line with our ambitious growth strategy. We believe that Client Solutions will be a great fit for EY clients as we enhance our service offering and suite of business solutions.

EY says it has teams in over 150 countries that "provide trust through assurance and help clients grow, transform and operate".
