Content+Cloud expands Microsoft Dynamics practice by four-fold with acquisition of Azzure IT
The Microsoft-focused business is continuing to expand after being acquired by Advania
Content+Cloud has acquired Microsoft Dynamics partner Azzure IT as it continues to expand after being bought by Advaina.
The Microsoft-focused cloud services and digital transformation provider says the deal establishes it "as one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics Business Central providers in the UK" alongside its leading Microsoft Cloud practices.
It said Azzure IT "leverages the power" of Dynamics Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) alongside its proprietary IP including order processing, procure-to-pay, stock control, distribution, manufacturing, and time and billing solutions.
The deal will grow Content+Cloud's Microsoft Dynamics practice by four-fold, it claims.
Craig Such, CEO at Azzure IT, said: "There is no shortage of demand or opportunity in the Dynamics space today.
"The evolution of the Dynamics proposition has underpinned Azzure IT's strong growth, supported by our incredible team of Dynamics professionals. Content+Cloud's reputation in the Microsoft ecosystem is second-to-none and we are delighted to become part of C+C and the Advania Group."
Peter Sweetbaum, CEO at Content+Cloud, welcomed the Azzure IT team.
He said: "We are very conscious of the resource and skills constraints in the UK, and also globally. With Advania and C+C's combined scale, the ability to invest in up-and-coming talent, optimise ways of working to increase delivery capacity, and invest in IP, is truly exciting. Meeting the market demand for Dynamics-related solutions is a challenge for all of us in this industry, including Microsoft.
"At C+C we look forward to working with Microsoft and others in the industry to identify innovative ways to increase market capacity, to meet client demand and create opportunities for younger professionals looking to make an impact."
Content+Cloud was acquired by Nordic MSP giant Advania in December last year, with the deal creating a combined group with more than £800m in turnover.
It said that, with the Azzure IT acquisition, the combined group will now have more than 225 Dynamics professionals able to deliver Dynamics 365, Dynamics Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales to its clients.
Sweetbaum told CRN that there is a "huge focus" in the Microsoft ecosystem to come to the cloud because there's a "huge demand from our client base".
He added: "We are appropriately well positioned as leaders in the Microsoft ecosystem, because we're investing very, very heavily in that skill set.
"The capacity to leverage Microsoft to drive digital transformation is exceptional."
Whilst the business partners with other vendors, he said Content+Cloud is "Microsoft-centric as opposed to Microsoft-exclusive".
"Although C+C is clearly Microsoft-centric, as a full services provider, we provide solutions from other vendors like Cisco and HP to enable our clients to fully leverage public cloud capabilities."
