eSentire launches new partner programme 'to help business leaders make sense of the complex security landscape'

eSentire has launched a new partner programme that it says will accelerate digital initiatives requiring modern security and accountable governance.

The security vendor says its new e3 partner ecosystem will focus on mapping partner engagement, productivity and the overall experience of how business leaders use cybersecurity services.

It says its targeting managed services providers (MSPs), managed security services providers (MSSPs), value added resellers (VARs), master agents and technology partners.

The new programme will give them access to managed detection and incident response services, personalised on-demand training and sales support as well as stable recurring revenue and business development acceleration.

"We're bringing in not only the offering, but also the subject matter experts and all of the intelligence so that we can help our partners have that conversation with the customer," Bob Layton, chief channel officer, told CRN.

"Then after that, the partner has then kind of ticked up a bit in their own knowledge and now they can go forth and try to find other opportunities off of that."

eSentire says the new programme aims to "simplify the partner journey" and prioritise a "collaborative and flexible experience so every e3 ecosystem member can excel in establishing their authority in cybersecurity services with their respective customer bases".

Layton said he thinks the partner community has changed in the channel recently and feels eSentire has come in at a "really good time" to help them with their transformation.

He added: "I have seen in the channel that the partner community has changed.

"You will see ones that are offering many more advisory services, business consultancies, and perhaps even having close ties and relationships with insurance underwriters and brokers.

"You'll also see them having a much more cloud-centric story.

"They're just really in a place of transformation right now and so we really come in at a really good time to help them carry that along."

Members of the programme participate in a specialised fast start onboarding program designed to support training, certification, co-selling and marketing initiatives.

eSentire claims this will in "accelerate both the identification and conversion of opportunities".

Layton added: "We created the e3 ecosystem because we saw an opportunity to accelerate digital initiatives requiring modern security and governance.

"What all partners want is a simple and effective way to provide security as a service to their clients, snapping into their own value proposition and delivering a total solution.

"It's our shared responsibility to help business leaders make sense of the complex security landscape, to simplify the security solution buying cycle, and to demonstrate strong time to value from onboarding to cyber risk reduction.

"When we truly collaborate as an ecosystem, together we can help organisations build more responsive security operations to put themselves ahead of disruption."
