Forescout to open new offices in UK and Ireland as part of expansion plans
Keith Weatherford, VP of Worldwide Channel Sales at Forescout, has said the company is integrating the channel 'closer and closer'
Forescout says it is investing in new offices in the UK and Ireland as part of its expansion plans, with the company looking to integrate partners "very tightly" into its market model .
The cybersecurity firm has announced several ways it is expanding in the EMEA, which includes wider regional investment with the creation of two new support centres.
The business said it is investing in a new central London HQ, which includes a customer briefing centre and houses a team that will drive European customer projects.
It is also creating a European Operations Centre in Cork, Ireland, which will be led by Norma O'Callaghan.
Keith Weatherford, VP of worldwide channel sales at Forescout, told CRN the company's goal is trying to integrate the channel "closer and closer into Forescout".
He added: "What we really have been trying to do, which drives our strategy across all aspects of our company, is really make sure that we're a customer first company.
"Everything we do is designed to make sure that we're focused on customer success. That includes the partner ecosystem, because the partner ecosystem is really critical - 98 per cent of our business goes through our two-tier model.
"The partners role in achieving customer success is really, really critical. So what we've tried to do is integrate the partners very tightly into our good market model."
Forescout has also appointed Matt Poulton as its GM and VP of EMEA.
"The digital terrain of every organisation is changing rapidly. There are more digital assets, greater threats, and fewer skills available than ever" said Poulton.
"Forescout is the cybersecurity expert able to deal with this dynamic situation, which is driven by large-scale digital transformation in all types of organisations. This has driven our outstanding growth in the past year and the expansion of our technical and customer support services in region will continue this momentum."
The company has also bolstered its relationship with global cybersecurity specialist Exclusive Networks, which is now Forescout's primary distribution partner in Western Europe.
"Automated cybersecurity is fast becoming a strategic imperative for security teams as they struggle in the face of rising cyber-attacks and an acute lack of cyber-skills," Denis Ferrand-Ajchenbaum, SVP of global business development and ecosystems at Exclusive Networks, said.
"Quite simply, they are overwhelmed and under resourced. This new agreement further strengthens our existing partnership, and we look forward to even greater success together as we help channel partners take advantage of this growing market opportunity to create immediate and sustained customer value leveraging Forescout's unique and highly relevant solutions."
