Microsoft launches 'perfect opportunity' for partners to offer Windows 365

Microsoft has launched a Windows 365 Enterprise trial experience through its Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners.

Windows 365 allows users to stream Windows to any device, with Microsoft labelling the offering as a "new hybrid personal computing category called cloud PC".

Under the new promotion, businesses will be able to get up to three free users for one month.

"This new offer is a perfect opportunity for CSP partners to introduce and pilot Windows 365 with their customers," Microsoft said in a blog update.

"With the enterprise edition, partners can provide deployment and management services, using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Lighthouse."

The offer is valid from 1 July to 30 September and includes a monthly term subscription of Windows 365 Enterprise 2 vCPU, 8 GB, and 128 GB.

To qualify, customers need to be new to Windows 365 and have specific prerequisites, including Microsoft 365 Business Premium.

Microsoft added that partners should promote the offer through digital campaigns and customer outreach.

The offering originally launched last year, with Microsoft quickly having to halt free trials due to what it called "significant demand".

It was designed in response to the rise in hybrid and remote working driven by the pandemic, with the tech giant claiming it would allow both to be done more easily.
