Diversity day for Lenovo and Microsoft as they head to tonight's awards

All attendees of joint Lenovo-Microsoft partner event heading to the CRN Women and Diversity in the Channel Awards

Lenovo and Microsoft today held a joint Diversity in Tech Day ahead of this evening's CRN Women and Diversity in the Channel Awards.

The event was designed to "recognise the game changing and inspirational contribution that a diverse and inclusive workforce makes to our industry", Lenovo's UK boss Neil Sawyer said in a LinkedIn post.

All the attendees, who work for either Lenovo, Microsoft or the duo's mutual channel partners, are heading to the CRN Women and Diversity in the Channel Awards tonight.

It provided an opportunity for them to hear about the careers of key executives and tips on how to grow their career path, Sawyer (pictured below) told CRN. It was also an opportunity for them network amongst peers and like minded people, he added.
