Oracle fires cloud services into Arrrowsphere in EMEA
The distributor continues to beef up its ArrowSphere platform to grow its footprint across Europe
Arrow Electronics, an Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) member, has added the vendor's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services to ArrowSphere.
Approved channel partners across EMEA will be able to access a range of Oracle Cloud services including storage, compute, database and analytics.
Oracle's cloud services are designed to help enterprises run their most demanding workloads securely.
Arrow has teamed with Oracle for more than 20 years offering services that help customers to market, sell and deploy OCI services, as well as dedicated training programmes.
"Our relationship with Oracle spans over two decades, and adding OCI services to ArrowSphere is the next logical step," said Eric Nowak, president for Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA.
"We're committed to helping our customers grow their cloud businesses, and these products combine the flexibility and cost benefits of a public cloud with the predictability, security and control of an on-premises environment."
This is the latest in a strong of moves the distributor has made to strengthen its ArrowSphere offering.
Services from Cycloid, Netaxis Solutions and InContinuum Software have been added to Arrow's cloud management platform this year.
Havovi Yazdabadi, vice president of EMEA technology alliances and channel at Oracle, added: "Today's announcement with Arrow Electronics provides customers with more choice and flexibility in their use of cloud to help them solve their most pressing and complex business problems.
"OCI currently operates 33 commercial regions and seven government regions, in addition to multiple dedicated and national security regions. By making OCI services available to Arrow's cloud channel network more customers than ever will gain access to the cloud."
