Kyndryl bags five-year deal with data analytics group Kantar
The two firms claim their partnership will “underpin” Kantar’s aim to become "the pre-eminent global data and insights company"
IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl has landed a multi-year project with marketing data & analytics company Kantar.
The five-year deal will see former IBM spin-off Kyndryl transform and optimise Kantar's IT infrastructure to meet changing and growing business demands and modernise the digital workplace environment and capabilities for more than 25,000 Kantar employees in more than 60 markets.
Kantar explained it selected Kyndryl for the contract due to its depth and breadth of experience in IT infrastructure modernisation projects.
Kyndryl says it will implement a "more resilient" infrastructure alongside advanced technologies to support Kantar's innovation agenda.
It will do so through implementing innovative platforms across Kantar digital estate, including migration to the cloud; advancing technology delivery across its infrastructure services to fully predictive management; creating an "evergreen" engineering approach for infrastructure services products, avoiding future technical limitations; and fostering a collaborative culture of innovation, engagement, and partnership.
"At Kyndryl, we believe that a transformative culture is the heart of progress and it's essential that IT infrastructure services can support a company's transformation," said the group's global head of delivery, James Rutledge.
"Having previously worked with Kantar, we already have a unique insight into the organisation and we're proud of the trust the company has placed in us for this landmark transformation project."
