Top 100 UK resellers and MSPs revealed
The financial fortunes of the UK's top 100 resellers and MSPs rebounded in their latest years on record, CRN Top VARs 2023 indicates.
The top 100 grew their collective revenues by 16.7 per cent to £19.3bn in their latest periods on record (as of 31 January 2023), compared with seven per cent the previous year and 8.5 per cent the year before that.
In fact, that's the highest collective growth since CRN Top VARs first started in 2011.

The record uplift was fuelled by supersonic organic growth at market goliaths such as Softcat, Bytes and Bell.
Inorganic consolidation led by private equity-backed MSPs, including Node4, OneCom, Focus Group, Sabio and Nasstar, also artificially inflated the numbers.
Our data is based largely on the latest annual accounts each company filed on Companies House or the stock exchange (typically for years ending 31 December 2021 or 31 March 2022). In a few cases, we used numbers shared by the companies themselves or reliable third-party testimonies.
Despite supply constraints, many saw growth accelerate as clients resumed projects they had put on ice during lockdown.
A full analysis of how they fared can be read in CRN VAR 300, which will be available exclusively to CRN Essential subscribers imminently. It also profiles the next 200 channel partners by size, who have revenues of between £10m and £44m.
What's clear is that the IT solutions these 300 firms provide will remain a priority for end users even in the toughest of times.
