Daisy's M&A plans blossom as cybersecurity vendor ECSC set to be acquired
The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Daisy’s cybersecurity services portfolio
Reseller Daisy has announced it has reached an agreement to acquire cybersecurity vendor ECSC to build out its cybersecurity services.
The acquisition is the latest in over fifty acquisitions made by the firm.
The £195.4m-revenue partner recently snapped up the trio of Phoenix IT, Alternative Networks and Damovo UK.
ECSC was established in 2000 and specialises in security breach prevention, detection, and response support.
"We're really excited about adding ECSC's longstanding and highly complementary cyber security expertise to Daisy 's existing Cyber and Operational Resilience division, and wider managed service business," said Daisy CEO Neil Thompson.
"Our people are looking forward to working together, and the skillsets the ECSC team bring will further enhance the market leading IT services we provide to our customers."
Matthew Briggs, CEO of ECSC, added: "We are excited by the prospect of what can be achieved as Daisy and ECSC come together.
"Under Daisy ownership, the ECSC directors believe there is a very real prospect that ECSC can become the UK's leading cyber security organisation, providing excellent career opportunities and delivering best in class cyber solutions for new and existing clients."
