Mimecast appoints new head of channel
The new hire brings more than two decades of channel leadership, having spent 13 years at Juniper Networks
Stan de Boisset has joined Mimecast as its new senior vice president of global partner ecosystems and channels.
He brings with him 20 years worth of channel experience and will be focused on implementing Mimecast's partner first partner programme, managing its service provider initiatives, and the implementation of the Mimecast technical partner champions programme.
Boisset joins from identity verification specialist Jumio Corporation where he was responsible for building and leading its global partner organisation as global VP of partner ecosystems.
Most notably he spent almost 13 and a half years at Juniper Networks in a variety of channel-focused roles.
Starting out as a regional channel manager for the Middle East in 2004, Boisset was then promoted after three years to regional partner manager for MEA.
Before leaving Juniper in 2017 to join digital experience monitoring platform NetBeez, Boisset had worked his way up to the roles of chief of staff - EMEA operations director followed by global senior director for commercial sales and inside sales until his departure in 2017.
"I am thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to protecting businesses against cyber threats," said Boisset.
"I look forward to working with Mimecast partners around the world to ensure that our customers are fully protected in their work. Together, we will have a significant impact in the fight against cybercrime."
