Alex Tatham leaves NSC Global

Alex Tatham is leaving his position as head of global clients and marketing at NSC Global after joining last September, following nine years as MD of distributor Westcoast.

Tatham announced the news last week in a post on LinkedIn saying: "It has been a learning experience with great colleagues, huge amounts of change and lots of new things to deal with."

In an interview with CRN this morning, he said: "There's not much to say: these are things that are probably always best left be. Less is more in many of these situations. But the key thing is that I'm moving on and have got to find something else."

He added: "I am sad to be leaving NSC Global. I have learnt so much about delivering IT services across the world, which was a total contrast to my previous roles in distribution.

"I look forward to using my experience in the IT channel in the future. I would like to thank Yaseen and all my colleagues at NSC for the opportunity and wish them and the business success in the future."

Earlier this year he talked about his position at NSC Global and the company's goals for 2023, highlighting a £400m-£500m revenue goal for the IT services provider.

Regarding this comment he said: "I don't think that's changed from an NSC perspective. And certainly, significant growth of the business is what they are striving for and want to achieve, and they'll have to see if someone else wants to do it."

As to his achievements at NSC Global, Tatham described his core focuses as bringing about several management changes, some of which are still in progress, and making sure NSC continued to recover from the pandemic.

"And I think I achieved some great stuff with NSC. In really trying to pull the whole business together.

"We brought marketing in-house, we brought new alliances and relationships with manager, vendors, and distributors in particular, as well as some great new customers."

Looking at the future, Tatham said: "I look forward to being able to tell you what's coming. I haven't got anything specifically, but there are a number of conversations going on.

"So, let's wait to see."
