SonicWall promotes Michelle Ragusa-McBain to VP global channel chief
The new channel boss has history with cybersecurity rival Cisco
SonicWall has today announced that Michelle Ragusa-McBain has been promoted to vice president, global channel chief.
She will be responsible for driving the channel ecosystem and enabling partners to grow and profit from the outside-in shift to cybersecurity.
With more than 18 years of partner experience, Ragusa-McBain has led, developed, managed, and grown channel ecosystems at Cisco, Office Depot, and JS Group.
She joined SonicWall as vice president and North America channel boss in May.
Prior to this she headed up Cisco's global partner organisation from June 2021 for two years.
However, Ragusa-McBain first started in Cisco in 2005 as an associate sales representative. After almost 13 years at the networking giant until her departure in 2017, she held several roles including partner manager, and segment marketing and operations manager.
"SonicWall is a partner-first company and enabling our channel around the globe is a key priority," said SonicWall chief revenue officer Jason Carter.
"This global appointment is another sign that SonicWall is continuing to evolve and is one of the unquestioned leaders in the cybersecurity space.
"Along with the emphasis on SonicWall's outside-in approach we are positioned to take our partner community to new heights in the second half of 2023."
Ragusa-McBain added: "This is an exciting time to partner with SonicWall.
"Our new outside-in channel strategy is redefining success for its existing and future channel partners, who require strong security efficacy, low TCO and actionable threat intelligence."
