Advania acquires RTS in Sweden
The acquisition is aimed at expanding the MSP’s digital transformation
MSP Advania has acquired large-scale digital transformation provider RTS to strengthen its offering in Sweden.
The acquisition of the Swedish MSP aligns with Advania's goal of becoming the preferred IT-services provider in Northern Europe.
Advania will be acquiring 100 per cent of the shares in RTS from ShortCap and management.
The transaction is expected to close during Q4 2023, pending regulatory approval.
The Swedish privately-owned IT services company specialises in large digital transformation projects and managed services as well as offering hardware and licenses to meet the IT needs of their customers.
The acquisition enables Advania to expand its existing services and introduce new services to clients in Sweden.
With the acquisition of RTS, Advania Sweden will enhance its offerings in transformation services, managed services, and VAR for both existing and new customers.
Advania and RTS also aim to create a workplace to allow talent from both companies to excel in a decentralised, customer-centric environment.
"It's truly exciting to have the entire RTS team join Advania on our growth journey in Sweden," said Tomas Wanselius, CEO of Advania Sweden.
"This acquisition emphasises our goal of becoming the preferred IT services provider and our ambition to help create sustainable value for our customers in their digital transformations,"
CEO of RTS Urban Berlinde also commented: "We're proud of the robust company and culture we've built over the years and are thrilled to combine forces with Advania, a company that shares our focus on culture, customer intimacy, and growth."
