Exclusive buys Consigas to further boost cyber services portfolio
The VAD persists with its acquisitive approach to its goal of gaining market share
Exclusive Networks acquired Consigas, a specialised global cybersecurity services provider focusing on training and consulting.
The move is intended to enhance the VAD's global services capabilities.
Lars Meyer, former CEO of Consigas, will now spearhead Exclusive Networks' Palo Alto education services business.
Using Consigas' expertise and Exclusive Networks' resources, the aim is to establish global leadership in the cybersecurity education sector.
The acquisition aims to amplify Exclusive Networks' global service offerings, extending Consigas' services skills and digital tools across all territories through Exclusive Networks' extensive partner network.
Notably, Exclusive Networks has already trained over 6,000 professionals in the first half of 2023, according to the company.
Consigas, headquartered in Europe and founded in 2013, holds the titles of Certified Professional Service Provider (CPSP) and Global Authorised Training Partner (ATP) for Palo Alto Networks.
In 2022, Consigas achieved gross sales of €3.1m, contributing to Exclusive Networks' anticipated earnings accretion.
Jesper Trolle, CEO of Exclusive Networks, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, citing Consigas as a valuable addition to their global services capabilities.
He highlighted the shared goals and opportunities to increase market share in this critical area for their ecosystem.
Lars Meyer, now part of Exclusive Networks, echoed the sentiment, emphasising their commitment to Palo Alto Networks.
The deal follows the earlier acquisition of fellow cybersecurity VAD Ingecom, which Exclusive completed in September this year.
It comes after a strong quarterly showing from Exclusive, which delivered 9 per cent gross sales growth and 13 per cent at constant currency to €1.2bn (£1.04bn).
