Logicalis welcomes new UKI CEO Neil Eke
He joins the company after UKI MD Alex Louth announced his departure on LinkedIn
IT reseller Logicalis today announces Neil Eke as the new CEO for its operations in the UK, Ireland, and Channel Islands after UK MD Alex Louth revealed he was moving on.
Eke brings over 20 years of experience within the IT industry, and joins Logicalis from Computacenter, where he spent 12 years.
Louth announced his departure on LinkedIn after almost five years with Logicalis as managing director: "Late last year I decided a change would be good for me and for Logicalis UKI and I made the difficult decision to leave.
"There have been good, bad, and ugly moments over a period of five years, that had Covid, supply chain and economic uncertainties thrown in for good measure, but I honestly say I have enjoyed (most!) minutes of the journey."
In his new role, Eke will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction and overseeing the operational activities of Logicalis UK&I. He will also work on delivering value to customers, empowering employees, and strengthening partner relationships, the reseller said.
"Neil's strategic acumen, combined with his industry expertise and dedication to fostering talent and a culture of diversity, make him the perfect choice to lead Logicalis UK&I," said Robert Bailkoski, CEO of Logicalis Group.
The company said Eke's appointment heralds an exciting new chapter, marked by a commitment to innovation and inclusive growth.
"With a focus on building dynamic, talented teams poised to meet future challenges, Logicalis UK&I under his leadership, is well-positioned to translate digital advances into tangible value for customers, employees, partners, and communities alike," a statement by the reseller read.
