HP prepping partners for AI era with channel programme update
Vendor rolls out new AI training and sustainability programme to help partners unlock growth opportunities
HP has updated its HP Amplify programme to include a role-based AI partner training and certification programme and expanding its sustainability initiative, Amplify Impact, to distribution partners.
The vendor hopes the roll out will unlock new partner capabilities and help them grow through AI.
New partner growth play opportunities, tailored for video collaboration and AI data science were also announced as part of the enhancements.

AI enablement
The first phase of the HP Future Ready AI MasterClass will offer tailored role-based training for sales representatives, account managers, and technical consultants, to equip HP Amplify partners with the necessary skills to meet the growing demand for AI solutions.
The initial pathway, AI Fundamentals, offers self-paced online training and videos covering AI use cases, HP's AI solutions portfolio, and an overview of data analytics platform, HP Amplify Data Insights, to shape the customer experience and drive growth strategies.
Specific role-based learning paths will guide partners throughout the programme, providing strategies for AI implementation and solution sales.
HP Amplify growth plays
All eligible HP Amplify commercial partners participating in the initial roll out now have access to HP Amplify growth plays, a new programme offering unique tools, advanced capabilities, and compensation elements built around the company's growth categories.
HP's first growth play, video collaboration, is available for distribution and commercial reseller partners and aims to extend the benefits of HP's acquisition of Poly to the channel.
Scaling sustainable impact
HP also released the Amplify Impact programme to distribution partners and 48 countries.
HP claimed since its launch in 2021, the programme has equipped more than 40 per cent of eligible Amplify partners with the knowledge and tools needed to champion change across climate action, human rights, and digital equity.
