Westcon-Comstor boosts quantum security offering with AppViewX partnership

The distributor is hoping to make the most of quantum security’s exponential growth in recent years

In a move to bolster its quantum security portfolio, global distributor Westcon-Comstor has partnered with AppViewX.

The agreement will cover the UK, Benelux, and DACH markets, aiming to provide partners and end-users with enhanced crypto-agility solutions.

This collaboration comes at a crucial time, with the quantum security market projected to reach US $9.8bn by 2030.

The partnership will leverage AppViewX's expertise in certificate lifecycle management automation and public key infrastructure as-a-service (PKIaaS) to address the growing complexity of application delivery infrastructure and security.

AppViewX, a US-based company, is already partnered with F5, an existing Westcon vendor, through F5's technology alliance programme (TAP).

Westcon-Comstor is hoping the distribution agreement will open up significant opportunities for channel partners to utilise the AVX ONE platform in conjunction with other key products from Westcon's portfolio.

Partners can access and test these multi-vendor security solutions against specific use cases through Westcon's 3D Lab, a dynamic virtual demo environment.

As part of the agreement, Westcon-Comstor will provide support and training to its partners and end-users, ensuring a smooth deployment and adoption process for AppViewX solutions.
