Seasoned channel expert Tim Mackie appointed as Claroty’s VP of worldwide channels and alliances.
Cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection vendor Claroty,, announced on Monday the appointment of Tim Mackie as its new VP of worldwide channels and alliances.
Mackie brings to Claroty more than 25 years in strategic IT channel management and major account development at top cybersecurity companies such as Armis, SentinelOne, and Cylance.
Mackie will lead the company's FOCUS Partner Programme, a three-tier programme designed to align to and support all partners' differentiated business models and expand the ecosystem's ability to become trusted advisors on industrial cybersecurity.
Mackie will also be involved in Claroty's technology alliance partnerships and work with channel partners.
His leadership will help the company grow by further enhancing its global channel ecosystem, drive strategic alliances, and expand market penetration.
"I'm very excited to bring Tim's deep knowledge of converged technologies, leading global teams, executing comprehensive channel strategies, and creating structure that drives significant revenue growth to Claroty to bring even greater value to both our partners and customers." said Derek Phillips, CRO at Claroty.
Claroty VP of channels and alliances, CJ Radford, previously spoke to CRN about the programme's revamped MSSP certification, outlining the vendor's recent efforts to appeal to the channel.
"I think what's new about this programme is that we've formalised those relationships, the different licencing models that we use with our partners, he said.
"We've established some guidelines around just some technical certifications and some training and some education that we want to see our partners bring to the table so that we set them up for success with our solution."
